As keen golfers, this couple knew they were in for a treat when heading to Cape Town. Naturally, they wanted to play the best golf courses, soak up the South African culture and delve into the famous sounds and tastes, all the while leaving some days to relax.
Listening to their requirements, we worked to put together the perfect, bespoke itinerary to make their trip to South Africa unforgettable.
They visited the prestigious Royal Cape Golf Course, a frequent host of the South African Open, the picturesque Clovelly Country Club and concluding with the Jack Nicklaus designed Pearl Valley Golf Course, another former host to the South African Open.
Off the course we suggested a range of activities aside from basking in the South African sun, ranging from famous wine lands tour and visiting the mighty Table Mountain
Day 1 - Arrive into Cape Town International Airport. Met on arrival by a YGT representative. Check into hotel - 5* Table Bay Hotel. Room including breakfast for 7 nights.
Day 2 - 18 holes of golf at Royal Cape Golf Course.
Day 3 - Morning at leisure. Suggest going up Table Mountain or trip to Robben Island. 18 holes golf at Arabella Golf Club
Day 4 - 18 holes of golf at Steenberg Golf Club.
Day 5 - Day at leisure. Suggest trip to the winelands to take in a vineyard tour or two!
Day 6 - 18 holes of golf at Pearl Valley Golf Club.
Day 7 - Day at leisure. Time to relax and enjoy the Mother City.
Day 8 - Return to Cape Town International Airport to catch flight.
